Brundtland to celebrate BI-Fudan cooperation

Mrs. Gro Harlem Brundtland to celebrate BI-Fudan cooperation in Shanghai on June 4th 2011.

BI Norwegian Business School and Fudan University in Shanghai celebrate the 15th anniversary of their joint master programme in China and of their educational cooperation on June 4th 2011.

Mrs. Gro Harlem Brundtland (former Norwegian Prime Minister and former Director-General of the WHO), who was one of the initiators of this cooperation, will attend the celebrations in Shanghai

In 1995, Mrs. Gro Harlem Brundtland, then serving as Norwegian Prime Minister, opened the Nordic Centre, and initiated the establishment in 1996 of what today is the BI-Fudan MBA Programme. This programme was one of the first joint educational programmes of its kind to be recognized by Chinese authorities, and has today educated more than 1700 executives, mostly from foreign invested enterprises, in the Shanghai region.
