The Centre's objective is to provide high quality research and analysis into the field of macroeconomics and petroleum economics.
Examples of its work would be the construction and implementation of new models of the macro economy, the analysis of particular questions such as the effect of oil price shocks on the world economy and studies of the aggregate impact of fiscal- and monetary policy.
Since there is often a strong interaction between economic policies and financial developments, CAMP will encourage studies of such interactions.
