Centre for the Construction Industry's main purpose is to contribute to a better understanding of the importance of the construction industry for Norway’s economy. The centre makes four key contributions:
1. Research that shows the role the construction industry plays in the Norwegian society
2. Research that reveals important opportunities (and challenges) for value creation in the industry, by focusing in particular on collaboration and learning across firm boundaries
3. Competence development through offering educational programs for the industry
4. Networking trough arranging seminars and workshops for the industry
