2017 has been characterized by hard work, new initiatives and good results. Our researchers have put in a lot of effort in the recent years. We see the results in record high number of publishing points. With this, BI contributes to pushing international research forward.

Furthermore, in 2017, Financial Times ranked BI as the 33 best business school in Europe. This means that BI has climbed 39 places on the ranking since 2010.

Good relations with business and society are crucial for the development of BI Norwegian Business School as an education and research institution. This year, we have had the first meetings of the BI Alumni Advisory Board and the BI International Advisory Board. Two important arenas to ensure good links between research and relevance.

In 2017 we have innovated both program content and teaching methods. We look forward to launching more novelties in the program portfolio in the coming year. Digital transformation is central in everything we do.

2018 is our anniversary year. We celebrate 75 years of proud history by showcasing the best we have to offer. In 2018 much of the focus will be on our new strategic plan and how we can work together to make BI even better and even more relevant.

Thank you for your engagement in BI in 2017!

Inge Jan Henjesand
President of BI Norwegian Business School
