Stuck in the past or on the way to new practices? The future of Co-operative Compliance
Stuck in the past or on the way to new practices? The future of Cooperative Compliance
The tax authorities in the Nordic countries have tried out innovative measures to strengthen relationships with large corporate taxpayers. Despite the fact that these countries are usually seen as quite alike, the OECD inspired co-operative compliance initiatives performed very differently.
At the seminar we present our findings and explain how structural hindrances, differerent cultural orientations and trust influenced the co-operative compliance initiatives. Representatives from key stakeholders share their experiences and reflect on future moves.
The purpose of the seminar is to engage EU, OECD, national tax authorities, corporations and other interested parties in a discussion of the future of co-operative compliance.
You are welcome to participate in the entre seminar, or only the presentations most suitable for your interests. The seminar is free of charge. Welcome!
The seminar is sponsored by the Nordic Tax Research Council.
