Students abroad

BI is recommending all students abroad to return home

BI is encouraging our students abroad to follow the advice and recommendations from the Norwegian Government and return to Norway as soon as possible. The final decision of what you would like to do is yours. If you feel safe where you are and would like to stay, that is a decision you need to make together with your family.

International students are asked to consider if you wish to return to Norway or your home country. Please follow advice from your home country’s authorities.

What happens to my studies and the courses I am taking?
If your host university does not offer digital teaching, we will do our utmost to find replacement courses for you at BI. You will be permitted delayed registration for BI courses. We are currently working to find solutions and alternatives, and will provide you with more information as soon as possible.

In this situation, it is challenging to answer all individual questions. We therefore ask for your understanding and patience. We will send you an e-mail as soon as we have more information. Follow our webpages for further updates.

We understand this is a difficult and challenging situation to be in. You are left with many considerations and decisions to make. We will do our best to support you in the days to come.

In the meantime, we ask you to take the necessary precautions to stay safe. Look after each other.
