Biography

Brøgger holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oslo, Department of Social Anthropology from 2001. Her research experience includes several long-term field works in South-East Asia and a number of R&D-projects in companies and organizations in Norway. In 2007-2009 she was visiting scholar at the University of Chicago. Other work experience is in commercial banking and the finance department in public administration. Brøgger was research director at the Work Research Institute from 2011-2013, when she became professor in business development and innovation at BI. She teaches and supervises students at all levels, bachelor, master and Ph.d.

Kort biografi
Benedicte Brøgger er professor i forretningsutvikling og innovasjon. Tema for hennes forskning er de kulturelle sidene ved forretningsvirksomhet og vekst, og betingelsene for samforstand og gjensidig forpliktende samarbeid mellom ulike interessentgrupper. Hun har gjennomført flere lange feltarbeid i sør-øst Asia, og flere korte feltarbeider i forbindelse med utviklingsprosjekter i varehandel, olje- og energi, og prosessindustribedrifter, og i kommunalt sektor. Brøgger har en doktorgrad i sosialantropologi fra Universitetet i Oslo, og har i 2 år vært gjesteforsker ved University of Chicago. Hun har vært forskningsleder ved Arbeidsforskningsinstituttet og har arbeidserfaring fra finansnæringen og offentlig sektor.
