Flladina Zilja

PhD Candidate - Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship

Biography

Flladina is a last year PhD Candidate at BI Norwegian Business School. Her research interests broadly lie in the human side of strategy with a focus on the influence of CEOs in strategic choices and the dynamics of the CEO- board relationship. In her dissertation, she investigates to what extent and how CEO characteristics shape firms’ global strategies e.g. internationalization, choice of entry mode and divestments.

Flladina holds a MSc in Financial Economics from BI. During her PhD, she has been a visiting research scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Furthermore, she has been engaged in the formulation and delivery of executive short programs for external clients.
