Dag O. Hessen

Dag O. Hessen, professor in Biosciences at UiO and head of Centre for Biogeochemistry in the Anthropocene (CBA).

Centre for Biogeochemistry in the Anthropocene (CBA); a multidisciplinary center within the natural sciences aimed at understanding the carbon cycling and climate feedbacks in northern ecosystems.

Hessen has published a wide range of papers on ecology, evolution and climate-related issues. He is also the author of several popular science books, and have received several awards for dissemination of science.
