Isabelle Juillard Thompsen
Isabelle Juillard Thompsen, CFA is Portfolio Manager for DNB Future Waves, a global equity fund pursuing sustainable investments with environmental and social objectives. She is also actively involved in the development of sustainable investment strategies and the integration of ESG in the investment process for DNB Asset Management.
Isabelle Thompsen has gained extensive international experience in investment management from France, the USA and Norway. She has worked with sustainability in the finance industry for more than 12 years. Prior to joining DNB, Isabelle led global equity investments for Gjensidigestiftelsen, one of the largest foundations in Norway and worked as Senior analysts at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund. She also held different roles at Storebrand, working as Portfolio Manager for alternative investments and Co-Head of hedge fund investments.
Isabelle is the former president of CFA society Norway and is a board member of the Katapult Foundation, promoting impact investing globally. She previously served on the advisory board of CDP Water. Isabelle was a co-author of the NORSIF (Norwegian Forum for Responsible and Sustainable Investment) guide of ESG integration in equity valuation.
Isabelle is a CFA Charterholder, has executive education in sustainable investments in natural resources from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Management from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Bordeaux France and an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University, WA, USA.
