About the speaker

Dr. Sophia Charlotte Volk is Senior Research and Teaching Associate at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) in the Science Communication Division in the Department of Communication and Media Research.

Sophia is an expert in evaluation and measurement methods. In two current research projects, she is investigating the evaluation practices of higher education communicators in Europe (a cross-national survey conducted in collaboration with the EUPRIO association) and the impact achieved by researchers’ science communication projects (funded by the SNSF). Previously, she has conducted empirical research on evaluation of strategic communicators
