Status report - Influenza virus A (H1N1) - Swine Flu

BI Norwegian School of Management continues to pay close attention to the development of the influenza virus A (H1N1) - also called the Swine Flu.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health is monitoring the outbreak closely and is working with the Norwegian Government to assess any possible threat to the public.

To date, there are no confirmed cases of the flu virus in Norway. The Norwegian Health Authority has today confirmed that the virus is not more aggressive than an ordinary winter flu in Norway.

At the moment there is no need to take any extraordinary precautions in regards to the type A (H1N1) virus in Norway. However, BI Norwegian School of Management will continue to pay daily attention to the development of the virus, responding immediately as and when circumstances change.
