Studies the relationship between the cultural and the business worlds

In her research, Anne-Britt is particularly interested in the relationship between art and capital, culture and business. In her books entitled Kunst og kapital (Art and Capital) and Kultursponsing (Cultural Sponsorship), she looks at what takes place when the cultural and the private business sectors establish new connections in the form of cultural sponsorships and new marketing strategies.  She is particularly interested in the new hybrids that arise between the art and financial systems.

Anne-Britt is presently working as project manager for the BI survey Kulturkonsum i krisetider (Cultural Consumption during Times of Crisis), which aims at studying the possible effect of the economic crisis on cultural consumption and the extent of digital cultural consumption on music and film.
