The social and academic exchange is something very important among students also in the BI-Fudan MBA programme.
–It has been very interesting and useful to talk to my classmates about my subjects. Not just look at my own company and market area, but hear different voices from different companies and markets, says Hu Rui (33), Team Manager at Microsoft, Shanghai. The exchange between classmates does not stop even if the MBA degree is completed. It is maintained through the Alumni network.
The China Alumni network consists of about 1 500 former students, now spread all over the world. The network is designed for former students to keep in touch, develop networks as well as to maintain professional development alongside their career.
The Alumni networks provide contacts and also meetings and conferences in your Alumni Community, based on your professional interest, your degree or place of residence.
Meetings with Alumni
-The Alumni centre at BI in Oslo can help you with a lot of things. So pick up the phone and say hi! urged Barbro Kolbjørnsen, at the Alumni introduction-meeting. The BI-Fudan MBA-graduates were introduced to the alumni website.
Along with a nice lunch, they received an introductory-package, the alumni-magazine and the well known BI-shirt, light blue and white with BI on its back, among other things.
-As a member of BI Alumni you have free access to the database Business Source Alumni Edition. Here you can download the latest text articles to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of your field of work, Kolbjørnsen told. BI also offers library resources.
