Young Ambassadors is a development program for socially aware and knowledge-seeking high school students from Oslo, Akershus, Østfold and Buskerud. Director and founder Kenneth Sydhagen is the chairman and founder of the program. He has built the concept based on his own experience from a leadership program he attended in the U.S..

Young Ambassadors is based on the voluntary effort of dedicated students, as well as the collaborating partners First House and the U.S. Embassy in Oslo. The program follows the school year calendar and is a one year free program designed for 20 participants.

President Tom Colbjørnsen wished the participants at the Alumni Conference welcome.

During the year, members visit various social actors, where Tom Colbjørnsen initiated the event. Among the speakers was Sven Mollekleiv, Erik Bertrand Larssen, Astrid Heiberg Nøklebye and also our own Tor Haugnes represented.
