BI profiled in Financial Times

15 May 2013

BI Norwegian Business School is profiled alongside The Haas school at UC Berkeley in Financial Times' section for Business Education in May. FT describes BI as a business school with plans to become a global player.

The article in Financial Times is a result of a recent interview with president Tom Colbjørnsen. The article is part of the series "Business school profiles" in FT's section for business education online.

"It is perhaps surprising to think that Norway, with its population of just 5m, boasts one of Europe's largest business schools. But such is the case, and Tom Colbjørnsen, president of BI Norwegian Business School, is on a mission to tell the world about it." FT's Della Bradshaw writes.

President Colbjørnsen comments on BI's strategy, on consolidation, internationalisation plans and focus on the executive market, amongst other things. "Our goal now is to be in the top league of European business schools," says Colbjørnsen in the interview.
