28 November 2013

We happily announce that BI is the first Norwegian business school to achieve the prestigious AMBA accreditation.

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has a rigorous assessment criteria to ensure that only the highest calibre programmes recieves the accreditation. Among other things, they reviewed the quality amongst our academic staff, research, teaching and programme content.

The President of BI Norwegian Business School, Tom Colbjørnsen, is pleased with the recognition and says the accreditation is an important step in the work of strengthening BI amongst increasingly strong international competition.

– This accreditation is a stamp of approval that demonstrates BI’s attractiveness both in Norway and internationally. I am very happy about the feedback concerning our MBA programmes, says President Tom Colbjørnsen at BI Norwegian Business School.

The AMBA accredits institutions of higher education based on full-time and part-time MBA programmes, and has awarded full marks both to BI’s own EMBA programme and to the programme we run jointly with Fudan University in China, the so-called BI-Fudan MBA programme.
