BI students runner-up in Harvard competition

Master students Ole Jakob Ramsøy and Andreas Hesla Qvigstad was awarded second place in the prestigious competition for the best project assignment at Harvard Business School.

The two students wrote the second  best paper as part of a Harvard based course on strategy. The students are in their final year of Master of Science in Business at BI Norwegian Business School.

-I am glad to see BI students perform well on an international arena. I want to congratulate them on this strong achievement, says president Colbjørnsen.

The students are specializing in strategy at BI’s Master of Science programme. The course "Strategies for Industrial Competitiveness" is based on a course directed by Michael Porter at Harvard Business School, and serves as a model for nearly 100 other similar courses at universities and colleges all around the world. The best case project from each educational institution will be submitted to the Harvard Business School who through an appointed committee announces the best paper worldwide. Course responsible at BI is Torger Reve.

BI students have earlier won this award in 2008 and 2011.
