For the fourth consecutive year, 1000 Deans and Presidents worldwide have recommended BI as one of the most influential business schools on the map. This places BI as 26th in the world, 17th in Europe and 1st in Norway, measured against 1000 other schools internationally.
- It’s great to see that such a large proportion of business schools across the globe recommend BI. For us to be attractive to the best students and the best researchers, the high reputation of BI internationally is very important, says President of BI, Inge Jan Henjesand.
BI awarded top score
This year’s results reveal that BI has been awarded the 5 “Palmes of Excellence”, with 5 being the top number achievable. This marks BI as a “universal business school with strong global influence.”
Along with Copenhagen Business School and Stockholm School of Economics, BI is one of only three business schools in Scandinavia to achieve 5 Palmes. Only 10 percent of the 1000 schools in the survey accomplished the full five.
Eduniversal, which is part of the French consultancy firm SMBG (France’s leading company for student guidance and HR) orchestrated the global survey in which thousands of Presidents and Deans are asked to recommend higher education institutes in other countries. The recommendations form the basis for the selection of the world’s top 1000 business schools.
Besides the recommendation system, Eduniversal has formed an international research committee to assess the international impact the individual school has in the following categories:
- International recognition
