The position of Dean is a four-year fixed-term position with the responsibility of evaluating and developing programmes, leading education committees for the respective courses and ensuring that the courses meet internal and external quality requirements.
From BBA to MSc
Rasmussen has a PhD from Cass Business School in London and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Law. She steps into this new role from her position as Associate Dean of the Bachelor of Business Administration at BI and will assume the position as Dean of MSc from 1st October 2014.
Rasmussen highlighted several factors of the position that she is looking forward to, yet she is most excited to work with dedicated and talented people.
- Working across the organisation and seeking holistic solutions is an aspect I find very inspiring. In addition, it will be incredibly exciting to collaborate with highly motivated people in a manner that will benefit BI.
From Professor to Executive
Silkoset took her doctorate in Economics at BI, with a year of study at the University of Kentucky. Since 2011 she has been a professor of Marketing and Department Head of the subject at BI - and from 1st January 2015 she will assume the position as Dean of Executive.
