Communication for Leaders: New magazine published by BI

17 June 2015

Fresh from the printers, a brand new magazine featuring strategic communication methods for leaders, such as the perfect tweet and how to manage your reputation, has arrived at BI.

Communication for Leaders is published by the Centre for Corporate Communication in collaboration with the Department of Communication and Culture at BI Norwegian Business School.

The Centre for Corporate Communication (CCC) is designed to spearhead the most innovative and effective strategies for communication in the corporate world; the Department of Communication and Culture is well regarded on the international arena for its academic research, and a collaboration between the two results in ensuring BI is recognised as one of the most influential knowledge bases for effective corporate communication in Europe.

An ambitious goal, but not unattainable with BI’s current position in Europe. The Communication for Leaders magazine highlights the latest research from the CCC and the Department of Communication and Culture and emphasises that streamlined communication is essential for influential leadership.

- The full potential of corporate communication is in helping their organization build reputation. They can do this by trying to influence perceptions to engaging stakeholders as partners in developing reputation. This is not a new idea, but one that is difficult to realize, says Peggy Brønn, Professor and director of the Centre for Corporate Communication.

Communication for Leaders features both English and Norwegian articles and is produced biannually. Read the online version of Issue 1 of 2015 to discover proven methods for engaging with social media audiences, pinpointing how successfully a potential business partner communicates, writing that perfect tweet and more.
