EOCCS re-certification of consumer behaviour

22 January 2020

EFMD Online Course Certification System (EOCCS) is an online Course Certification System – it serves as an international quality benchmark for online courses.

The fundamental objective of EOCCS is to raise the standard of online courses to ensure theses are exemplary and contemporary courses. EOCCS enables us to engage with a community of expert in the field of online education and help setting standards and criteria of quality online learning. BI got the first EOCCS accreditation for consumer behavior in 2015.

-This re-certification is proof that BI has succeeded in capturing the use of future teaching methods and is a frontrunner and innovator amongst the most international and prestigious business schools in the world," says President Inge Jan about the re-certification.

Nina Vogt is the course responsible for Consumer Behavior at BI.
-I am proud of this re-certification. Consumer behavior is a course I have put much personal and pedagogical effort in to, and then it is extra rewarding to get recognition for this work. The certification is also a great contributor in increasing the quality of our online courses.

With 101 certified courses from 21 institutions in 12 countries, EOCCS presents an international quality benchmark for online courses worldwide. The certification system is firmly embedded in the general philosophy of EFMD accreditations: internationalisation, practical relevance and quality improvement.
