Last week, several media outlets reported a crackdown by security forces against Iranian students who were protesting authoritarian rule.
"Education and freedom of speech are fundamental rights. Events in Iran make it clear that schools and universities must stand together against oppression. BI condemns all violence against students," says Karen Spens.
