Financial Times ranks BI among top business schools in Europe

3 December 2018

BI Norwegian Business School is ranked number one in Norway and fourth in the Nordics by the Financial Times European Business School Rankings 2018.

Inge Jan Henjesand, the President of BI, is pleased that the school continues to improve its standing on the list of Europe’s best business institutions.

He says: “In this ranking, we compete with the most prestigious educational institutions in Europe. Ranking within the top 40 demonstrates BI´s growing reputation and success in the international arena. This result is important because it determines our ability to attract the best professional resources and the most talented students, which in turn makes us an attractive partner for cooperation in the industry and with other educational institutions.”

The Financial Times has nine separate programme rankings, and BI participates in five of them: Masters in Management, Masters in Finance (not part of the European School rankings), Executive Education - Open, Executive Education -Customised and Executive MBA. The ranking indicators measure business schools according to a variety of alumni and school criteria.

Henjesand says: "The ranking demonstrates that BI is among the leading business schools in the world. For our students this means that their diploma represents outstanding quality, and for the business community it confirms that they get the best skills and talent when recruiting from BI.”
