The Role of an Investor in making a difference to society

On October 6, President Inge Jan Henjesand at BI invites Mr. Johan H. Andresen jr. - investor and Chairman of the Board of Ferd- to a discussion on:

Impact Investing, social entrepreneurship and microfinance projects which play an important role in combatting climate change and integrate sustainability/ESG through making social impact, creating jobs, reducing inequality and poverty, boosting prosperity and protecting the environment.

Sustainable development rests on three pillars: economic growth, social equality, and environmental protection. The core to sustainable development is the necessity of addressing these three pillars as a whole. Financial, social, and environmental considerations are inextricably linked.
