Words matter. Words have the power to change the direction of society. However, some words when over-used or misused turn into buzzwords. Such has been the fate of the word sustainability.

This is because the concept of sustainability is ambiguous, there are different purposes of measurement, and not the least there is confusion over terminology and methods.

This seminar showcases companies and organizations that are leading the way on integrating sustainability and climate action into their business strategy. It also highlights recent research from KPMG, Sustainability Hub and Luntz Global on what communication strategies are effective for gaining support for sustainability and climate change.

At this event you will learn:

  • What sustainability strategies work and what strategies fail
  • How to avoid confusion when explaining sustainability
  • Why /How using outdated language terms is hurting your business and what to do about it
  • What words can turn a climate sceptic into a sustainability supporter
