In early September, BI received concerns from students about a fellow student who had made serious threats to BI. Police were notified immediately. The police have taken the necessary precautions to ensure that all students and staff are safe. BI is in ongoing dialogue with the police and follows their advice. Activity at our campuses runs as normal.
- According to the police it is safe to go to campus and study as normal. The student in question is taken care of by the police and they are handling the situation.
- This situation did not occur yesterday, but two weeks ago. The reason why we want to update you on the situation is because we received concerns from students after pictures of threats had been circulated on the social media channels Jodl and snapchat. There has at no point been a danger for students to be on campus.

Updated information from the police 19 September:
The Police has confirmed, Thursday 19 September, that the student that has posed threats to BI and its students has been given a restraining order. Any other inquiries regarding this matter needs to be directed to the police.
