Students from partner universities who are nominated as an exchange summer programme student by their home university, will receive a full tuition fee waiver. Please get in touch with the International Office at your home university if you are unsure if you can be nominated.

Students from partner universities who are not nominated, will receive a 30% tuition fee reduction.

How to pay

Payment instructions will be given in the formal letter of admission. Payment deadline is May 15th, 2020.

Cancellation fee

The cancellation fee is 25% of the total fees. After June 1st 2020, no fees are refundable. Fees paid for the current summer cannot be transferred to the next year.

SUMMER PROGRAMME SCHOLARSHIP

BI Norwegian Business School offers five full-tuition Summer Programme Scholarships to Bachelor students from non-partner universities. The scholarships may be awarded as full scholarships to five individual students, or they may be awarded as partial tuition fee waivers to more students. The scholarship committee will make this decision after the application deadline, based upon the applications received. Fees for social activities, accommodation and personal costs are not included in the scholarship and will have to be borne by the candidates themselves.

Scholarships are awarded based on both academic and personal qualifications, as well as financial need. In order to apply for the Summer Programme Scholarship please submit the following scholarship application documents.

Who can apply? Bachelor students from non-partner universities. 

Application documents:

1) Online Application, remember to mark it with BI scholarship under section Finance

2) Application letter (max. 600 words) with the following points covered:

  1. Your interest in Norway
  2. Your motivation to participate in the International Summer Programme at BI
  3. Previous study/travel abroad experiences
  4. Overview of your estimated expenses for the full four weeks of the programme, including international travel costs, personal costs etc. and if you are applying for any other scholarships
  5. Information why you would like to apply for the Summer Programme Scholarship 
  6. Are you applying for a full tuition scholarship or a partial tuition fee waiver?

2) Reference letter from a professor/lecturer at your home university who has taught you in recent year/s, stating:

  1. How long and in which capacity have you known the applicant?
  2. Briefly describe skills and abilities of the candidate which you think will help him/her to be successful in participating in the International Summer Programme at BI
