What will you learn?

You will gain broad academic knowledge in the three different fields of Business Law, Tax, and Accounting. With this major, you will have an advanced understanding of central accounting standards and accounting issues. This includes the measurement and recognition of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, which is fundamental for evaluating the quality of financial statements.

Among the courses, you will find:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: What is the earning potential of a company? Should a loan be granted or extended? Learn to comprehend and critically evaluate the financial information included in corporate annual reports.
  • Financial Accounting Theory: What is the relationship between accounting information and economic realities? You will gain insight into the fundamental functions of financial reporting and its theoretical basis.
  • Business Analysis and Valuation Using Financial Statements: Develop the skills necessary to do valuations and credit analysis.
