At a workshop at the Centre for Business History at BI Norwegian Business School November 26th, Walter A. Friedman from Harvard Business School held a presentation about the rise of sales management in the US. His presentation was named: "The birth of a salesman: The transformation of selling in America - and Europe?".

In his interview with BI Business Review after his presentation he gives his perspectives on the rise of sales management in the US, and draws up the main differences of selling in the US versus Europe.
