Comment: International students (students whose phone number does not start with the country code +47) receive a verification code by e-mail and SMS. To change your password, use the same phone number including the country code you used in your BI application.

I am a new applicant and have created an account in Application Web, but I get a message saying my account has been blocked.

Applicants must go to their e-mail and confirm their e-mail address by using the link sent by BI. The e-mail with the confirmation link was sent the same day as the application was registered in Application Web. Check your inbox and confirm your e-mail address by clicking on the link provided in the e-mail. This should allow you to access your account. If you are still unable to access your account or cannot locate the e-mail, please contact us.

I am a former student at BI, but cannot log into www.bi.edu with my user account.

Students who have previously studied at BI must create a new user account with their private e-mail. Create a new account and log in on www.bi.edu.

Note: This does not apply to students that have studied at BI within the last two years, as they can use their student account to log in.

I have a user account at BI and have tried to log in multiple times, but I have forgotten my password. After several attempts, my user account has been locked.

If you do not remember your password, follow the instructions in “How do I change the password to my user account?”

Note if you have tried logging in more than 10 times without entering the right password, your user account will be temporarily locked for one minute. The duration of the period your account is locked will increase with each failed log in and can last up to 5 hours. When each lockout period expires, you can try to log in again. If you don’t remember your password, see the question “How do I change the password to my user account?” above.
