D1 and the study area in the basement (U1) will be open until midnight.

During weekdays, librarians are on duty from 09.00 - 19.00. 
Saturdays a librarian is on duty between 11.00 - 16.00.

The library is a vital part of BI's learning environment, with study places, group rooms, group study areas, stock exchange zone, and social meeting areas. PC stations and AV equipment are also available. 

Places to study

  • Individual study places: 552 (quiet area)
  • Group study places: 537
  • 46 group study rooms and 9 AV rooms (244 seats)
  • Work stations with PC (including terminals): 218
  • Work stations with outlets for laptops: 50
  • Social places: 203

Master Students Area

Study desks and group work places for MSC, MM, EMBA, 4th and 5th year Siv√łk and PhD students can be found in the inner part of the B-block on the sixth floor.


In C5 there are 25 lockers for short term storage (max. 1 day). 

Copy machines / Printers

There are several copy machines/printers located just inside the entrance to the group rooms in B5, B6 and in C5.

We have PCs with the following software installed.

BI's wireless network and Eduroam.
