8th EIBA Early Career Network (EIBA-ECN)
Paper Development Workshop (PDW)
Dear Colleagues,
The EIBA Early Career Network (EIBA-ECN) was launched at the EIBA 2014 conference in Uppsala. Our vision is to establish a forum and cooperation platform for early career EIBA scholars. EIBA-ECN scholars are brought together to share ideas, build up networks with like-minded individuals, and discuss research projects with a view to the possibilities of cooperation and collaboration. So far, the annual EIBA Early Career Network Paper Development Workshop (EIBA-ECN-PDW) attended over 50 scholars. The works developed and discussed with ECN colleagues evolved into prestigious publications in journals such as Academy of Management Discoveries, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, among others. Further information on attendees’ experience and how the EIBAECN workshop affected the development of their research is available here.
This year’s EIBA Conference features the 8th EIBA Early Career Network Paper Development Workshop (EIBA-ECN-PDW) which will take place on 8th December 2022!
If you are interested in presenting your paper and receiving relevant feedback – or perhapshelping others to develop their research projects – please register for the EIBA 2022 -ECNPDW by sending an e-mail to the event organizers at bvlacic@ucp.pt
The deadline for submissions is 14 October 2022.
Please attach a PDF of your paper to your e-mail – and indicate if you have also applied for the IBR-PDW, JIBS-PDW or JIBP-PDW pre-conference events. (Please note that the PDWsare often held in parallel, so some schedules may overlap).
The EIBA-ECN-PDW is targeted towards young scholars who have already obtained their PhDs (e.g., post-doctoral researchers, lecturers, assistant professors, etc.); in addition, we consider only PhD students in their third or final year as eligible for this EIBA event.
ATTENTION: In case you wish to participate in the 8 th EIBA-ECN Workshop without making a presentation, we kindly ask you to contact the organizers via e-mail by 2nd December 2022.
NOTE: Participation in the EIBA 2022 ECN-PDW is free-of-charge for accepted applicants; however, all participants (including non-presenters) must be duly and fully registered for the EIBA Annual Conference (this is a mandatory eligibility requirement – no exceptions).
We are looking forward to meeting you in Oslo this coming December!
