Academic freedom and freedom of expression at BI Norwegian Business School

BI's researchers contribute with research on the top international top level, and our ambition is to build a strong institution that delivers leading research and education for many years to come. New knowledge contributes to better decisions, smarter ways of doing things, as well as new products and services. Research can also contribute by challenging, criticizing, providing corrections, and important input on important topics of great public interest. Academic freedom and independence are critical components of continuing to influence and challenge society. Our faculty have a special responsibility to disseminate research-based knowledge and participate in social debates, and freedom of expression serves as the foundation for this.
