The Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of our alumni, and their strong contribution to the society.
In 2023, BI Norwegian Business School celebrates its 80th anniversary – eight decades of research and societal impact.
The BI Alumni Award Programme recognises outstanding alumni who plays an important role in BIs impact on society, and it is our pleasure to launch the nomination campaign for the BI Alumni Awards.
This year awards will be given in the following two categories: Distinguished Alumni Award and Young Alumni Award.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honour bestowed by BI Norwegian Business School upon an outstanding alumnus. The award is presented to notable alumnus for excellence in commitment, leadership, and volunteer contribution to society.
Criteria of nomination:
The Young Alumni Award is given to the alumnus who has demonstrated the values derived from a business school education by making a significant impact on their industry and having professional accomplishment on national or international level. The recipient must have graduated within the past 10 years.
Criteria of nomination:
The Young Alumni Award will be given to four outstanding alumni, one from each of BIs’ four campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger.
The nominations process is open to the public for a limited time each year.
Nomination must be submitted by 1 June 2023.
Nominators need to specify which award category the candidate is nominated for, add a statement of support and submit online. The nomination committee may also nominate in all categories within the official deadline.
We understand that it may take some time to write and submit a nomination. It's still better to submit an "incomplete" nomination than not to submit one at all! If the jury does not find the nomination completely complete, they will obtain supplementary information afterwards.
