Application process for nominated and fee covered students

Admission criteria

Exchange students are nominated by their home university, and must comply with their university's exchange programme admission criteria. A high level of English proficiency is expected, but we do not require English tests.

If you are unsure if you can be nominated, then please check with your International office at your home university. 

How to apply

1. Coordinators at our partner institutions nominate their students ahead of the application round deadlines. See deadlines for more info.
2. Students receive a link by email to our online application form and submit the application form and supporting documents to BI before the deadline of the respective application round.
3. Students receive further information about admission and housing options by email.
4. BI sends out Admission Letters.

Supporting documents

When you complete the online application, you will be asked to upload the following documents electronically:

• Motivation letter
• Copy of your passport/EU Identity Card, showing personal data and photo
• Recent academic transcript (from your current semester)
