Esa Saarinen is a professor at Aalto University in Helsinki. He is a philosopher of everyday life who wants to help people flourish in what they do together and on their own.

For many years, he has inspired people within organizations like Nokia and Marimekko to create miracles of collaboration.

Esa has been to BI Norwegian Business  School several times, to talk with executive students about what it takes to mobilize energy and enthusiasm for common endeavors.

In this talk, he will reflect on the nature of goodness and care among colleagues at work.

In 2023, BI turns 80 years, celebrating eight decades as a leading provider of research, education and societal impact. Saarinen has been invited because he has been an important philosopher for students and researchers at BI for many years.
