14th Organisational Behaviour in Health Care Conference

Preconference workshop 2-3 April

The SHOC Early Career Researcher team and Professor Catherine Pope (University of Oxford) have put together an interactive face to face pre-conference programme on 3 April 2024 for early career researchers and post graduates attending the Conference in Oslo. Vegetarian lunch is provided. There will be a social event on 2 April in the evening.

The Preconference Researcher Development Workshop is devoted to skill and knowledge development for postgraduates and early career researchers, especially those attending OBHC for the first time. It features the ever popular research speed-dating session, advice and tips from senior academics including sessions about applying for a fellowship grant and dealing with reviewing. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to present and receive constructive feedback on a plan for a paper or other output from your research. This activity is optional. Please send an abstract/outline of your topic or planned work by 22 March 2024  so that we can allocate you to a small group for this activity and circulate your outline.  This should be no more than 500 words. The document can be word or pdf format and should be labelled with your name and affiliation.  Groups will be 3-4 participants and the outlines will be shared with the other members of your group and the facilitator only.

The abstract/outline should be sent to: Catherine.pope@phc.ox.ac.uk with subject header: OBHC preconference 2024.

The preconference programme has been put together based on previous workshops and with advice/requests from our committee and Early Career /Postgrad reps Anna Galazka, Tracey Rosell, Jennifer Gutberg, Élizabeth Côté-Boileau and Shalini Ganasan-Ryan.
