The 10th Megaproject ‘Theory Meets Practice’ Workshop

On day 1, we gather people from the industry and academia to discuss the management and delivery of major and complex (mega) projects.

The day includes a key note presenation by the CEO of Statsbygg, the Norwegian government’s building commissioner, property manager and developer, a panel discussion with key actors in industry and academia, presentations of projects, including the new Government Quarter in Oslo, and commentaries by academics. 

The day ends with a guided tour in Nydalen where BI is located and dinner afterwards. The tour is given by the property developer, Avantor, who has been leading the transformation of the area over the past two decades.
