Tenants handle their waste in their leased areas. The waste is delivered to the goods reception located in P3 and is sorted according to the fractions that BI has arranged for. Per today, 19 different waste types are available. Instructions for use of the waste compactors are easily accessible. Training in the use of the goods reception, or any questions, can be directed to personnel in the goods reception who are present on weekdays at 08.00-16.00.
The tenants are encouraged to increase the sorting of waste and to reduce the amount of residual waste, since it support BI’s goal of 65 % material recycling. It also makes the waste management less expensive.
