The paper development workshop (PDW), hosted by professors and Nordic Centre for Internet and Society members Suzanne van Gils and Sut I Wong, Nina Junker (UiO) and Dana Unger (UiT) provided a platform for participants to discuss their papers-in-progress, navigate the review process, and enhance their understanding of writing good theory.
The event featured esteemed speakers and panelists who contributed valuable insights to the discussions. On the first day, keynote speaker Professor Claudia Buengeler, an editor at Organizational Psychology Review, delivered an engaging presentation.
On the second day, a panel discussion took place on the topic of "How to deal with reviewer feedback?" The panelists included Professor Fabiola Gerpott (WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management), Dr. Daniel Quintana (Department of Psychology, University of Oslo), Professor Emilie Lapointe and Dr. Petra Kipfelsberger (Department of Leadership and Organizational Behavior, BI Norwegian Business School). This was followed by a plenum discussion on “What do you take home? What struck you the most?" with the panel.
Throughout the PDW, participants had the opportunity to work in their respective tracks and receive feedback on their papers. This enabled them to benefit from expert guidance and enhance the quality of their work.
Overall, the PDW provided a valuable opportunity for researchers to collaborate, learn, and improve their research papers in a supportive and enriching environment.
