BI Internship is a credit-bearing elective, where students work 240 hours part-time in a company over the course of one semester.
The objective with the internship program is to give students the opportunity combine work experience with studies in a manner that enhances their learning in both situations. The business community gets access to updated academic knowledge, able hands and the opportunity to address their needs for new knowledge as they prepare the internship activities for their interns.
The following study programmes offer the BI Internship elective:
BI Internships during the autumn semester are supposed to start in week 34 (+/- two weeks). The student is supposed to work 240 hours at the company over the course of the semester (approx. 15 weeks).
BI Internships during the spring semester are supposed to start in week 2 (+/- two weeks). The student is supposed to work 240 hours at the company over the course of the semester (approx. 15 weeks.)
Companies that wish to offer a BI Internship need to show a willingness for mutual learning and development. In order to participate as partners in the BI Internship course, companies must fullfill certain requirements:

The student needs an average GPA of C or above, and adequate study progression. The student is responsible for finding an internship company, make sure the learning contract is signed and thereafter apply to BI for admission in the BI Internship course.
The tasks are defined by what the company needs and the student's competence. Examples can be: Market analyses, strategy development, customer follow-up, reporting, analyses, recruiting and accounting.
BI Internship Bachelor is a credit-bearing course and the company is not allowed to pay the student.

Companies that wish to be contacted by students can announce their BI Internship position via the BI Career Portal. Students must reach out to the companies themselves, and the companies conduct their preferred recruitment process before a learning contract is completed and signed by the student(s) and the company.
Finally, students apply for admission to the BI Internship course with the learning contract to BI. It is the companies’ and students’ responsibility to get acquainted with the requirements BI has to both parties.
