Then you should consider taking the CFA Program, one of the single most important certificates offered internationally within the field of Finance. The mission of the CFA Institute is “to lead the investment profession globally by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society.”

BI’s MSc in Finance has been approved by the CFA Institute as a participant in the University Affiliation Program. This documents that its curriculum covers at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate of Knowledge and thus prepares you thoroughly for the CFA exams.

BI’s CFA affiliation is an advantage for all our students who want to embark on the CFA exam challenge:

• Each year, BI can award six CFA Program Student Scholarships which waives the one-time enrolment fee and reduces the exam registration fee to USD $350 (usually more than USD $1,000).
• Students have access to sample exams for all three levels of the CFA Program.

CFA Institute Research Challenge

This is one of the toughest case competitions in the world. Assuming the role of an equity analyst, students use their valuation skills to produce a report on a real-world company and pitch it to a panel of industry professionals. The presentation is followed by a Q&A session.

BI’s team has been to the global finals in four out of six years and became global Champions in 2021, i.e., 1st place out of 950 universities across 82 countries.
