Business
Combine different subjects within the core fields of business to suit your interests and career aspirations. Gain broad and sought-after competency that can lead to a wide range of different positions.
What will you learn?
This two-year master’s programme in Business provides a broad and versatile education, placing great emphasis on analytical and strategic thinking. You will learn how to translate data, theory and past experiences into insight companies and organisations can use to adapt to an ever-changing world. The programme takes today's challenges seriously, and takes into account that sustainability, profitability and innovation are closely linked.
On one hand, you will become a generalist or an all-rounder, with a general management education that is relevant to a number of different positions. On the other hand, you will become a specialist in a subject area chosen to meet your interests and ambitions. You will also develop sound analytical and strategic skills that are needed in managerial positions in business, industry, and public administration.
In addition to being awarded a master’s degree, you may also qualify for the title of “Siviløkonom”, a well-established and recognised professional qualification in business and industry.
Majors
The flexible study plan will allow you to customise your degree by selecting a specialisation or “major”. A wide variety of options will enable you to compose a master's programme to optimise your interests and strengths. You will choose one of the following majors that will form the core of your programme. The major in Finance is also offered at our campus in Bergen.
