The road to Cranfield

Radu first applied for a job as Lecturer in Strategic Marketing at Cranfield School of Management in November 2009. In his first interview he had to give a presentation on a given topic. He did very well and was invited back for a second round of interviews, where he presented his own research. After two rounds of interviews, Cranfield School of Management, part of Cranfield University, offered Radu a position as Lecturer in Strategic Marketing.

While other universities expressed an interest in Radu’s work, Radu opted for Cranfield School of Management because of its research and teaching reputation, as well as its location in the UK. Cranfield’s MBA, executive education and doctoral programmes are all ranked among the top 15 programmess in Europe (FT, Economist, WSJ, Forbes). Cranfield School of Management is also one of an elite group of business schools worldwide to hold triple EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA accreditation.

At Cranfield Radu will be teaching in the Master of Science and MBA programmes. He will also be expanding his research within the fields of branding and brand extensions, strategic marketing, consumer research, and sustainable and ethical marketing.
