A fun learning experience
BI National Case Competition (BINCC) aims to provide a fun learning experience for its participants. Fair play is an essential criterion in the case competition. All participants are expected to treat each other with respect.

Six teams from BI's four campuses meet in Trondheim 6-9 November for three intense days of hard work, networking and social activities. Each team consists of four bachelor students. Each team must decide on a name for their team. The name must be neutral and give no indication as to which campus the team represents.

The warm-up case
BINCC consists of a warm-up case followed by a 12 hour case, which is the main case. The warm-up case will be sent to the teams one week before the competition starts. The teams solve the case and bring their solutions to the competition.

Wednesday 6 November at 12:00 the teams present their warm-up case solutions. The teams have 15 minutes to present their solution. followed by a ten-minute Q&A session. All teams watch each other present and the warm-up case is therefore an important learning arena for the participants. The jury consists of relevant business representatives. The jury decide on a winner who gets a small prize, but the results have no bearing on the results of the main competition.

The main case
Thursday 7 November at 10:00 we will have a live presentation of the main case held by the case company. At 10:30 the case is handed out and the teams have 12 hours to come up with their solution.
Friday 8 November at 09:00 the teams meet at campus Trondheim for the BINCC Final. The teams have 15 minutes to present their solutions and 15 minutes to answer questions. The jury decides on the winner and runner-up.

The winner and the runner-up will represent BI at international case competitions during Spring 2020.

And the winner is... ?

We invite all BI students and employees in Trondheim to come and watch the BINCC final at campus Trondheim and find out who's this year's champion!
