#NORA: Roundtable seminar on public affairs and lobbying

In this round table seminar we discuss and explore the practice of public affairs and its role in democratic processes. More specifically, based on latest research of participants, we discuss perceptions and communicative constructions of public affairs in different context in Sweden, Norway, and Germany. Some of the focal questions will be:

1. How does practitioners view advocacy as part of their work?
2. How is the concept of public affairs framed and perceived by public media?
3. How are different public affairs roles constructed and perceived by practitioners?
4. How do public affairs practitioners manage taint associated with their professional identity and occupation?
