The seminar series challenges BI researchers to present new research and scientific insights that are relevant to managers in the workplace.
- "Lederens verktøykasse" creates meeting places for researchers and managers in business and public sectors. This is an important showcase for BI. It is brilliant that the concept has become so attractive that we must use our largest auditorium Finn Øien, says President Inge Jan Henjesand.
Mette Winger Eide from BIs Alumni Relations Department is excited about the development and looks forward to the lecture with Professor Øyvind Martinsen.

Friday March 31st, Øyvind Martinsen presents key trends in management, and gives advice on what might work in practice. He places particular emphasis on how important it is that employees can decide how tasks are to be solved (autonomy) and the manager's ability to carry both responsibility and the necessary authority to his/her employees (empowering leadership).
"Lederens verktøykasse" is held every last Friday of the month. The next event in the seminar seires is Friday April 28th, with Professor Kim van Oorschot.
