The police confirmed Tuesday morning that it was the missing BI student, Rakavan Jeevaharan, who was found in Nidelven Monday night.
"It is with great sadness that we have received the message from the police that the missing BI student, Rakavan Jeevaharan, has now been confirmed dead. Students and employees are strongly affected by this tragedy. Our condolences and thoughts go to the family, their relatives and friends and fellow students", says President at BI Norwegian Business School, Inge Jan Henjesand.

Missing student in Trondheim
BI has received a message about a missing student at BI Norwegian Business School - campus Trondheim after a student event.
"On behalf of students and staff at BI, I express concern about the message we have received about a missing student at BI`s campus in Trondheim. We hope that the student will be found in good condition as soon as possible, " says President at BI, Inge Jan Henjesand.
BI is aware of that several of the school’s students are out searching. BI’s premises are at the student’s disposal for them to come by campus to gather, talk and get something to eat and drink.
BI is keeping a close dialogue with the police. Thursday August 17 an e-mail was sent out to the missing person’s fellow students with information and notice that the school’s support will be available for whoever needs it.
An information meeting will be held at BI – campus Trondheim tomorrow, Friday August 18 at 3 pm, where the police and BI’s support team will be present.
