The Financial Times Executive Education rankings 2019 consist of two separate rankings: Customised Programmes and Open Enrolment Programmes. IESE Business School and IMD are listed as number 1 on the rankings. BI is the only Norwegian school listed on the 'Customised Programmes' ranking.
On the ranking of the world's best Customised Programmes, BI achieves 66th place out of 80 ranked business schools. This places BI ahead of top universities such as Copenhagen Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Politecnico di Milano School of Management. BI receives good scores on the Customised Programmes criteria 'International location' and 'Partner schools'.
In the ranking of Open Enrolment Programmes, BI is ranked as 75th out of 80 schools on the list. BI receives good scores on the Open Enrolment Programmes criteria 'Faculty diversity', 'International participants' and 'partner schools'.

Financial Times’ (FT) rankings of executive education are largely based on customer satisfaction. FT also considers the employment level of the participants: senior management programmes are ranked higher than programmes for middle managers and specialists. FT adds an additional weight to the school's international profile in the programme implementation.
